A Tribute to Mark, Nicole, and David

HEAVEN by Randy Alcorn
"What will last for eternity? Not your car, house, degrees, trophies, or business. What will last for eternity is every service to the needy, every dollar given to feed the hungry, every cup of cold water given to the thirsty, every investment in missions, every prayer for the needy, every effort invested in evangelism, and every moment spent caring for precious children--including rocking them to sleep and changing their diapers. The Bible says we'll reap in eternity what we've planted in this life." Galatians 6:7-8
I hadn't seen Mark in years, but I know that he wanted everyone to come to know Christ and to become devoted disciples of our beloved Lord. He was a husband and a father.
I didn't know Nicole very well, but we took a meal to her when she was still able to open the door. Just imagine how many many people were blessed by her nursing skills. She loved and cared for her husband and three children serving them as long as she could.
What can I say about my colleague David for almost 27 years? What a loving, adorable man and teacher who influenced so many students trying to teach them about honesty and good works. I taught his daughters in kindergarten and dearly love Rachel and Mary Grace. April is a very precious wife and caregiver at the hospital.
God is now blessed because He has these wonderful souls by His hand. Welcome to Paradise, Mark, Nicole, and David. Your good works preceded you and you will still be influencing those left behind for many years.
